AI Use
We sometimes use AI to create or improve entries for places, but we always label it. This helps us decide if we should send someone there. AI content doesn’t count in our ratings.
Writers often use AI to polish their writing, but the ideas and experiences are their own. We only use real observations for ratings and stats. No fake claims allowed—if we catch cheating, we remove the writer and content.
Fair Reporting
We aim for consistent, honest reviews. We note special cases, like bad beach conditions after a storm, with a * in the stats.
We guide writers to stay on track and welcome your feedback on details. Email us if you spot issues—we’ll review and fix.
Handling Travel Complaints
Writers must report problems to the destination first (where appropriate) and give the managers a chance to fix it. We don’t allow unfair bashing. For strong negatives, we check facts, talk to owners, and add their side as editor notes.
Ads and Funding
We earn from ads and affiliate links. Use of ad blockers may hide content beyond the ads, because original content isn’t free.
